LAST NIGHT'S DEBATE & STRAW POLL WERE HUGE VICTORIES FOR McBERRY CAMPAIGN!
(Atlanta, April 30)
Ray McBerry was the clear winner in last night's gubernatorial debate in west Georgia hosted by the LaGrange Patriots!
In spite of requests from the moderator for the audience to refrain from applause, it was impossible to stop the numerous outbursts of applause time and time again when it came Ray's turn to answer the questions posed by the moderator.
In one question after another, it was obvious to everyone present that the only constitutionalist on the platform was Ray.
At the end of the debate, nearly 300 of the attendees cast their vote in a straw poll with the following results:
Ray McBerry 152 (57%)
Eric Johnson 47 (18%)
Nathan Deal 29 (11%)
Karen Handel 20 (7%)
John Oxendine 19 (7%)
It was not even close... the vast majority of citizens present made it clear who their choice is for Georgia's next governor!
When asked for his comments afterward, Ray said, "Tonight's debate forum was one of the best-organized that we have had in the entire race; the LaGrange Patriots deserve much congratulations for a job well done. The event was very well attended by the public, there was media coverage for the candidates, and the questions hit right on the questions of most importance in the governor's race. I am happy to hear the results of the s traw poll conducted at the end of the debate; the results are in line with what we have heard after every single debate in this race. And in spite of the many lies and personal attacks that have been hurled against me in this race by liberal elements of the media, it is encouraging to know that my fellow Georgians are excited that they have a true champion of States' Rights running for Governor this year, someone who will stand up for their liberties and is not going to back down."
